No one likes to change jobs, there is so much that goes along with it outside of the job that any change is an endeavour in itself.

How do I get there?

Where do I go to meet?

Who do I talk to?

Will they let me leave early?

Now, do I have to prove myself all over again before working remotely?

Will this new team like my sense of humour?

What happens when I make a mistake?

None of these questions have anything to do with why you would pick that new job – if it’s great you’ll take it.

But they are all the reasons that people throw at us to stop us from taking it in the first place.

Change is scary, sometimes more for the people around you.
