Whether it is SLACK, the kitchen, the water cooler, the meeting room, the couch by the doorway, Jeff’s desk or maybe even your Dining Room table (that has been missing for way too long), it’s important to have that communal place – whether virtual or physical – where everyone goes to relax, recharge, rethink and regroup.

It doesn’t have to be elaborate, you don’t need leather chairs and a keg.  It can be as simple as a card table with 4 wobbly chairs.

It can be as simple as a card table with 4 wobbly chairs or an IM Group Chat.

But make it yours, make it that place where those discussions can happen, where the air of everything going on around you melts away, where titles and ownership don’t matter.

Where the goal is mere to have a common place where everyone can relax, recharge, rethink and regroup.
