Yes, I picked up a textbook (2 actually) on learning a new software language, and I love it.
I love having everything in one place.
I love reading the sidebars and comments on how things work and how to get started.
I love hearing about a person’s learning journey from beginning to end.
I love being on a logical roadmap instead of trying to figure it out on my own.
And I enjoy the feeling and satisfaction of completing a chapter.
Also, I like turning the page to something new, something a blog post will never be able to replicate.
Learning Paths are all fun and all, but I do enjoy my comfy chair, a tea and learning and pondering.
