Last week I was scrolling through social media and found this cool video of a guy on a kayak, tons of camera gear, catching a fish, and cooking it on the kayak. Each time it got more elaborate with what he was cooking.
Then my feed popped up with someone else doing it, with a different take on the trend; they were on a jetski, zipping around and doing the same thing.
Then I saw more posts that flipped the trend a bit more, as each person had to take their crack at the trend.
But in the end, there was that one person who had done it well, had started the trend, did it first, and their posts didn’t change; they didn’t try to become something different or fix what they were doing – they just kept doing their thing.
You can follow the trends, or you can do your own thing and see what happens; you might get a temporary blip with the trends, but you’ll always have consistency and know where you stand doing your own thing.
