We all have our specialties, things we are really good at, things we could do in our sleep, things that make us unstoppable – where we dominate. We all have our specialties things we are really good at, things we could do in our sleep, things that make us unstoppable – where we dominate.

But we also, all have our weak skills, things we don’t do well, take longer and are fraught with frustration, anger, and furrowed grimaces – where we struggle.
We dislike doing this type of work because it raises up all those nasty emotions within us – being uncomfortable, fearing failure, feeling emotionally withdrawn, not sure what to do or when do it.

But when we turn our weak side into a dominating skill, it’s not a simple shifting from one side to the other, it’s an elevation in our toolbox, in all our skills that make us stand out that much more.

Case in point – the basketball player that can dribble with both hands and do layups on either side is much stronger than the one that can only go to one side.  They don’t have to do it every day, but they can practice it so when the finals game comes, it’s there waiting to be used in the clinching moment when it was needing most accomplishing more than getting an additional 2 points – now confusing the defense in regards to how they should cover to you and freeing up other players to receive a pass.

Develop your weak side so it becomes your Dominant side.
