We Don’t Rest Enough

Guilty. We’re always on the go, always moving to the next thing, always trying to cram in the next big Instagrammable moment. And then onto the next thing. That whole “stopping to smell the roses” thing isn’t happening as much as our photos show they are. Do we even know what rest is anymore? Is it lying down? Does that rejuvenate you? The RDP Checkbox You Love to Hate

How many times have I tried to put in all the right information, store the profile and click this checkbox “Allow me to save credentials”? In-App Ads Go Boom

I was playing a game a few weeks ago when it prompted me to watch some Ads to get some more in game credits. I clicked play. Put my phone down. And went to clean the kitchen while the Ad played. More Notepads Please

What’s the simplest productivity tool you need to be effective? For me it’s a yello Notepad and a black pen. I can sit at a chair and write out ideas, architectures, apps, articles for hours – scribbling down thoughts, scratching them out, crumpling them up and starting all over again. It’s a cathartic release that I don’t get from typing into a word doc or scribbling on a tablet. And it’s the simplest, cheapest form of productivity that I have that ships with no excuses for not being able to try something new.

More Important Than a Like

What’s more important than a Like? Everything you do from the moment you wake up till the moment you go to sleep. Add it all up and ask yourself – “If no one liked this would I do it again?” – if the answer is yes, than rinse and repeat.
