I ended on this yesterday and wanted to expand on it more.
If you have someone on your team that isn’t succeeding in their role but they are an incredible talent to the team.
It could be they are in the wrong role and don’t know how to get out.
Help them – if it’s moving to another team, giving them a different role to perform, whatever – help them.
Having a great resource on your team that is continually frustrated because they are not doing what they are meant for is a hard sell to stay. You don’t want to lose them so figure out what they need, soothe their worries about being on a new path and help them succeed and grow.
There is nothing to regret.
