The Inversion of your work

I watched Jim Lee do this incredible drawing on YouTube once of Magneto. It all started from his hand, where it’s white, nothing but a blank page, but every line and shadow emerges from that clean and white component as crisp as the page he started on. From there, everything inherits and extends from.

It’s an inversion of work – nothing had to be done in that one spot, but around it, everything sprang from it to create an incredible masterpiece.

No other comments, just beyond impressive.
