Hand Holding is a Good Thing

We joke and lament when we have to hold someone’s hand to help them accomplish a task. But it’s not a bad thing when you really need it, when you are stumped, when you are stuck, when you need a kick. The only time Hand Holding is bad, when the person asking for their hand to be held – to learn, to grow, to develop – is really only interested in getting the answer and moving on. That’s not Hand Holding, that’s a Hand Out.

Switching to Winter Tires

I used to work with someone who would say – “there is no season, called “All Season”, it’s winter or summer” – those are the types oftires we use in Canada. It’ll keep the value of my vehicle. It’ll keep my vehicle performing better, longer. Whatever it is,

Project ShoeHorn

Shoehorns are designed to help slide your foot into a tight shoe.  If interested, you can find out more on the history of Shoehorns here (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoehorn). Essentially, they help with a snug fit between foot and shoe. Where Shoehorns do not work is getting a size 11 foot into a size 10 shoe. Not happening, not working, not worth the effort. So the question becomes – Are you trying to ShoeHorn a small Feature into that next release to make it more snug OR are you trying to ShoeHorn a new Feature with no requirements, no understanding and no resolve
