Props to the Front-Row

No matter how boring or interesting the topic – I’m never the person to go in and sit in the front-row.  Even if it is someone I know, I’ll never sit at the front. Conference Herding

When you go to a very large conference, crowd control is of the utmost important requirement – are there too many people in this room, how do we feed 20,000+ people for lunch, how do we keep the flow of the event moving and not have those few people going under the ropes and disrupting everything. If you want your message to get across then you need to understand what matters to your audience that will trigger your message to reach them.  We all have different styles of presentation; informative, humorous, direct, etc but at the end of the day if you cannot do the one thing that is

Read for the Stories, Not for the Hype

There are so many great stories to be told and heard, but they don’t come in the flashiest of covers, the largest of fanfare or the cutest marketing campaign. You can’t get them on your phone. The corners are dog-eared and scratched. They resonate with a few but not the paying masses. And they are some of the greatest stories that you will ever read, tucked behind the boxes that showcase the new, some of the greatest adventures you will ever read. Don’t read it for the hype, read it for the story, the hype isn’t going anywhere, but who
