I don’t know when I saw this video, it must have been during the Covid years, it’s old, way before any of it ever happened. The song is pure gold, when you’re somewhere you don’t want to be when you don’t know how to get out, when you’re confused and unsure – embrace it. “This is where we want to be, want to be.” And from there get back to what you need to do.

It’s easy to forget why you are somewhere when you have been there for so long. What brought you to this job in the first place? Why are you working with a particular customer? What you’re going to bring to the table? What do you hope to achieve? What you want to achieve? That’s why it’s important to take that moment, not with your team, not on the phone – probably not at your desk – but on a bench, away from your work, on a walk, and remember what brought you to this opportunity in the first place.
