The Learner Within

The New Year started 2 days ago. Have you finished all your goals and met all your resolutions? Are you executing as well as you said you would? Are you doing this now but when you go back to work everything will come bearing down on you and you’ll be stopped in your tracks? Find your Learner within, that which can sustain and meet your schedule, that which doesn’t have the expectation to get everything done within 15 minutes. That whose focused on growth over the year(s) not the days and weeks when all that has changed is a number.

Coaching the Growth

We coach for wins, not for growth. Growth happens behind the scenes, no one sees it unless they look deep beneath the covers. But it’s always there. So what would happen if we coached for growth instead, letting the wins happen when they happen, and see where we get from there? What would be the harm? What could go wrong? Just growth.

What’s for Sale?

What’s for sale, only matters if you are buying. If you aren’t buying, it doesn’t matter what’s for sale. Deciding to buy something because it’s there isn’t going to entice you. Just like your customers won’t be enticed if only one day a year you are going to give them the same thing on a manufactured day at a reduced price. Why buy throughout the year? The goal then is to make them buy throughout the year, not needing a sale.
