Avoiding THE Plan

There is no point in having a plan if you’re not going to follow it. But there is also no point in avoiding making a plan, simply because you didn’t follow it in the past. Hitting a Moving Target

Aiming for a moving target is easy – we do it every day as we try to line up plans and delivery schedules to get to where we need to be. At some point, there become too many variables in play that you are no longer planning for delivery but instead trying to figure out how everything comes together. If you’re finding yourself overwhelmed by the variables and not the output, focus on removing variables to stop the constant moving around and provide you bigger focus. Your Office is being Reconstructed

I didn’t think this would be a message that I would be receiving this week but there it was with the follow-up question – “Is there anything there that you need?” All I could remember was my unopened box of ramen noodles. Caveats for Success

I did a presentation a little while ago that was a deep dive analysis on the probability of delivery of across a variety of factors. Spammers and News

There is a direct correlation between news events and call spam. When the pandemic struck, there were many calls I started to receive for owed money (from fictitious departments… c’mon guys put some effort into it). Now that borders have opened between countries I am getting calls for packages I have ordered waiting at the border (maybe it’s that ruler I ordered four months ago).
