The best place to redirect AI is IVR trees. “Press 1 for x…” “I didn’t hear you…” “Are you sure…” “What’s your number…” Instead, start with… “How can we help you? Who do you need to talk to?” Replicate the experience of talking to someone and helping them more than you did before. That’s the test of AI.

All these questions (and more) are not about solving the problem, not about figuring it out, not about brainstorming, not about fixing it. Try a new thing it fails. Start again it fails. Start again and again it fails. When we try to reform habits we always want to “Get it Right” this time and we “know more” than we did before so push ourselves harder, we institute more constraints, we push ourselves to do more and more hoping that the clicking moment will happen this time for sure. The first step in any habit is showing up – are you getting there, are you putting in your time, are you present – if that’s not your first step, nothing else matters. Master

Sure, things change daily, no two days are alike. But if your job is changing daily, constantly, ever hour, every day, every week . If all this change is happening with no explaination, no reason – then this is a cover for not knowing why it’s changing, where it’s changing, who’s causing the change and what the justification for it is. Change is good, it’s great, but if you don’t know why, it’s bad.
