NBC used to have these great slogans at the end of shows in the 80s/90s – “The More You Know”. They would generally be about drugs or drinking. But now, more than ever, the More You Know, the better you are positioned for what comes next. The More You Know was the driver to keep learning and get better at what you are doing because when you know more, you can solve more.

The Direction of AI

I heard a good quote a few weeks ago about AI, because LLMs need to learn, what they learn comes from historical models, which are then used to extrapolate behaviour moving forward with what they have learned. Case in point, to draw, AI had to look at pictures of drawings to define structure and learning in order to draw in a similar model.
