I strongly dislike using the word Optics because it immediately transfers over to – “how do we look”, “what are we doing”, “what do people think”,  etc, etc, etc and it removes your focus from where you should be and what you need to focus on. I have a similar picture from when my children were young, we had bought new chairs and had all these boxes so we made this weird box fort in the basement that they could draw on, hang out in, eat, have snacks, etc, etc. It’s where creativity is born.

It doesn’t have to be rinsed and repeated today, it can be something you’ve never tried before. Traditions are good, and traditions are great, but creating new traditions is where new ideas and growth can come from.  Where we blend the old and the new and make something we never thought possible.
