Beating the competition without even trying isn’t a win, it’s a loss.

It’s a loss because you are not showing up to do your best work but rather to do the work that is “okay” and “passable”.

That feeling of winning will last for another 15 minutes.

But giving your all and losing?

Trying to raise your game that much more and not quite getting there?

That’s worth it because now you’re getting better, smarter, faster and stronger.

Now you’re making a difference, now it’s fun.
