On the show – “Whose Line Is it Anways” – the best line is by the host – “Where the scores are made up and the points don’t matter.”

(To some extent they do as is the case with school, certications and everything else).

I’ve never been a big fan of tests and exams only because they are the oldest method of gaming in the history of learning.

Stay up all night, memorize everything, expunge it the next day, rinse and repeat.

Want to really understand that complicated Math problem?

Give it an application, give it a function, a use where your students can apply it to.

One thing we seem to get confused on is that the Score we get is representative of our Passion.

“I got a bad score, I must not be very good, why am I bothering, I should give up.”

This couldn’t be further from the truth, the problem isn’t in your passion, it’s in the game you have to play.

And sometimes, you have to find a better way to learn the game than is in front of you.
