Tell me when this has worked for everyone involved?

If it’s something simple, like the background of the page, sure, figure it out as we go.

If it’s something more complex, like the vision of a new project or the upcoming of a release. Nothing is more demoralizing to your team then hearing – “we’ll figure it out as we go” when they are about to jump into a new project.

There is a time to “figure it out as we go” and it’s definitely not at the beginning of a project.
