When was the last time you took a step back from the work your team was doing and thought about how they are doing?
Are they struggling?
Are they stuck?
Where do they need help?
This isn’t about delivery, this is about growth, their growth, what is next, what they want to be doing, where they need to go.
This also isn’t about your vision for them, it’s about them and what they want to achieve and where they want to go. It might be a case of them not even being in the right place currently and them needing help, your help to get out of it.
If you are forgetting to do this, set a reminder, every month, thirty minutes and think about your team, how they are doing and what you can do to help them.
It’ll be worth it.
