The expression is to “get everyone on the samge page” because often we are not on the same page. We are on different pages, we have our own ideas, some are behind, some are ahead.

Invariably at the beginning, we are all on different pages through no fault on our own.

The challenge for the leader is to get everyone onto the same page with one important caveat – it’s not about getting everyone onto their page, but rather getting everyone onto the same page – even if it differs from their own.

That’s the tricky part.
