And it’s going to change.

In ways, you didn’t see coming.

When it does change you have two options;

  1. Keep playing the old game and hope things revert back to the way they were.
  2. Start learning the new game so you can better understand how it works and what you need to do.

The former will work in the short term and keep you afloat for a while until you reach a point where the game is so different you are lost.

The latter will cause some short-term pain as you refine, tweak and refactor your way to playing the new game. It won’t be easy, but in the long term, you’ll be ready for what is next.

The question is whether you are playing the game in the short or long term.
