A release with no value is not a release.

Every release should have value, every release should have something that we are proud to stand behind and look back and say – “we did that”.

Every release should have something that makes us go – “wow, this is fantastic”.

Even hotfixes.

Even Service packs.

An empty release is one that has none of this because we know there are going to be issued when it goes out the door, and we know there are going to be complaints.

So we’re waiting for something to go wrong once someone starts to use it.

And that makes it empty.
