This is the best way to start a meeting where no one knows what is happening or what the problem is.

It sets the tone and gets people into the right mindset.

It’s not about justifying your position.

Assigning blame.

Or analyzing what did or did not go wrong.

It’s about getting everyone on the same page before deciding to move forward.
