As a Developer, sometimes I get more excited to build the tool that tells me what the product is doing than the product itself.
I don’t know why this is – perhaps because it gives me a view into what the product is doing and how it is performing.
Perhaps because it proves out that it works how I planned for it to work?
Perhaps because I’m able to automate functions that is not yet in the product?
Whatever the case, it’s fun as hell and I look forward to it every single time.
