Short-form information is meant to get the idea out there – to take what is in your mind, put it to paper, and have it written down somewhere.  Short-form work is never perfect and is always at the idea or launch pad stage.

Long-form information is thought out, it’s been reviewed, it has jump-off points, references, whatever it is can stand on its own and survive, it doesn’t need to be clarified because everything that it is, is in there.

Both have their uses, the key is not to confuse one with the other when going through your delivery.
