I think I replace more cords over the course of a year then anything else.
I can buy them anywhere but sometimes they aren’t “the good ones”, and they don’t last as long.
The fall apart easily and stop charging after a few months.
Why?
No one knows, it’s like the lost sock in your dryer, they just go away, never to be heard from again.
And then you forget the right the adapter, or maybe it doesn’t line up and of course everyone has a different device so now we are trying to figure out who has what and what can and will not work.
Despite trying my best to think ahead, I end up bringing 5 – 6 cords on every trip – just in case – you never know.
The average lifespan of a cord has to be less than a year when used daily.
That’s the goal, make a cord that can be used multiple times daily, dropped, pinched, pulled and still work.
Make a cord that doesn’t have to be replaced.
