It takes more work to get out of a groove than it does to get into one.

When you are in a groove, you are making a conscious choice to push out of the groove onto new territory.

And yet, when it comes to “getting back into the groove” we make it that much harder on ourselves to get back into it, despite the groove still being there (i.e., the gym, your work, etc).

The only hard part about getting back into the groove is staying out of it for too long.
