Does it permanently fix your problem?

Does it create a new problem?

Does it look worse than it did before?

Does it get you over the hump today, but you’ll have work to do tomorrow?

Does it achieve what you were hoping for?

Is it even possible?

Is it so small, that no one will care?

There are many types of fixes, knowing which one you are doing and what the expectation of it is will drastically change your approach to the work you are doing.

On the flip side, what you bring to a fix, what you do every single time you create a solution to a problem, what you think about, what you put into addressing the issue.

That’s what goes into a fix that no one else puts in.
