But what will always win is the follow-up.
“Did you get my application?”
“Did you want to discuss further?”
“Got time for a coffee?”
“Can I send you my portfolio?”
The follow-ups won’t get you to the top; they might not get you anywhere, but they will get you further up in the list.
It’s possible you might annoy people and not get what you want.
But, no one can ever say you didn’t go beyond the “Apply” button.
