The Project Event

There is a moment in every project where an event occurs that stops the project in it’s tracks. It can be a good thing – “we don’t need to do this” or a bad thing – “someone is asking us to stop”. Whatever it is, it is a defining event in the delivery of the project and the team. What happens in that time defines how the project will succeed, where it will go and what the team will be able to accomplish. I went onto reddit and found that new users received a significant discount and/or there were randomly modulated price changes (to reduce the price by 80%). It’s too bad that users of 3+ years who have a proven purchase history aren’t

Agile for All

When Agile works, it is because everyone is working towards it. It won’t work if you have one group using it and four others looking in and going – “oh that’s nice”. Does that mean you need to follow the agile manifesto to the letter? Never – pick what works and start from there. Regardless of what you pick and what you apply, it’s a mind shift and one that doesn’t happen overnight. You don’t need to get all those four other teams to use it as you are, but you do need to get them to buy into the
