We all know that a good portion of our followers are bots. Even the ones that have handles that look like real-names and leave the same comments on every post that you do, immediately after you post it. No one sees your work that fast. LinkedIn published this list of the Top Companies to work for in Canada. I’m not sure what the criteria was to be on the list but I have a hard-time believing that the Top 9 Companies are all financial. The problem with these lists is that we worry about not being on the list so we tweak our message to get on the list (when it might not even be possible). You have an idea to make something better that goes against the grain. You’re tired of watching someone being treated unfairly. The customer that everyone loves is belittling your team’s efforts. Take a look at these two drawings – they are 15 years apart – done by the Master himself, Jim Lee. The best line – “keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll get there.” That applies to everything – coding, drawing, writing, throwing, building, designing, etc, etc. Always take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come, it’s the best barometer to teach you where to go.
