Come Together

Or Fall Apart. When you’re on a team, any team, in any timezone, remote or in the office, upstairs or downstairs, doing the same job or different ones, if you can’t bring them together, if you can’t come together… You’ll never be a team. You’ll just be a bunch of people, in the same place, doing some stuff and hoping that it somehow will come together. Pro Tip: It won’t. The Clicking Moment

When you are coaching, mentoring, teaching or leading someone, the best moment is when it clicks. It’s the moment where all those hours, days, weeks, months and/or years of persistent effort, working side-by-side with one another finally pays off. Not with monetary gains, trophies, recognition, likes or posts. But with the acknowledgement that it finally “clicked”, it came together, it worked. And now you get to move onto something new. That’s the moment all leaders need to strive for with their team in fostering a culture of growth and development.
