In the Mood to Create?

Are you ever in the right mood? To create… something different? To write… something new? To code… an idea on a napkin? To draw… a picture in your head? To go to the gym? You don’t have to be in the mood to do something, you simply need to be willing to put in the time to get it done. Because if you’re looking for a chance to make a difference you’re already ahead of everyone who is waiting for the mood to strike them.

The Off Season

The season where we don’t work. We don’t up our game. We don’t do extra training to learn a new skill. We don’t reflect on what did and didn’t work. We don’t think of new ideas and approaches. It’s a sports reference to time off between seasons but it can just as easily be a reference to the work you are doing today.
