We’re susceptible to drama when things aren’t going well.

When it’s not perfect.

When we need someone or something else to blame.

Drama is there to blow it up, make it bigger than what it is and keep us away from the real issue that is causing us grief.

If you’re constantly looking to spend more time complaining about the problem, wanting to talk about how hard you have it, constantly searching for someone to listen to your woes, you aren’t merely inviting the drama, you’re courting it and in the process taking your eye off the problem, the real issue, the only issue where your focus needs to be.

We don’t Lead Drama so let’s stop inviting it into our conversations.
