Right now, many leaders are learning what it feels like to lead in the dark.

When their team isn’t connected to their elbow, when they can’t see what they are doing, when they can’t stop by their desk for a quick 5 minute chat.

If can be a bit panicky because here you are expected to lead them and you can’t even find them.

It’s okay thought because you’ve been here before, when you first started leading the team, when you didn’t know anyone, when you didn’t know the team, when you had to learn everyone’s name and figure out what makes them tick.

You’ve been here before.

You’re just having to do it again.

Remember what you did the first time around, take those steps that work and slowly work with them so you can get, out of the dark.
