Whether it’s a team you work side-by-side with, interact with, or talk to now and again.
You won’t get a view as to just how things are truly working until you embed yourselves within all the activities you do.
The standups, the team meetings, the updates, the delivery, everything.
It’s only then you can get a feel for how things are working and what needs to be done to help them. If you’re not on the inside, if you’re not side-by-side with them, all you’re doing is watching.
You can’t sit beside them in a remote world, but you can talk to them, reach out to them, ask them how you can help and what they need. There are many more steps when being embedded remotely, but they can be done.
You just need to find the steps, and take them.
