Dress for the Job that you want?

I would change that saying slight… Dress for the career that you want. The job moves you from place to place.  A job gets you from A to B, delivery X and you get Y. A job gets you from A to B, delivery X and you get Y – i.e., do work for us and you get a salary. A career can be composed of many jobs that only you know are leading you down the path of your chosen career to where you really want to go. Want to believe in the career direction you are going? Getting Back Into It

You used to be an expert at something. You were the goto guy/gal to make it happen and get it done. Conference Herding

When you go to a very large conference, crowd control is of the utmost important requirement – are there too many people in this room, how do we feed 20,000+ people for lunch, how do we keep the flow of the event moving and not have those few people going under the ropes and disrupting everything. It’s definitely not an easy task and one I don’t envy. But it’s one I find myself continually chuckling at – as adults – paying to attend an event where we want to learn on these new ideas, be creative and learn.  Yet where
