Renegade By Design

Renegade – traitor, deserter, betrayer, dissenter. Wow – much worse synonyms then I had originally thought when I started thinking about this, but alas there it is. I read those four words and I immediately think about the impact towards people of taking those actions but in thinking it up saw it as something completely different… Those who constantly break the status quo in search of something better (The Betrayer)? Those that can’t let the argument of “this is how it’s always been” stand without trying to find something different (The Dissenter) Those that choose to walk away from a

The Recipe For Instant Culture

Take 3 parts great people. Take 1 ounce of luck. Take 2 cups of awesome product. Add 1 tablespoon of secret sauce. And poof – Instant Culture Not quite. The Technology Announcement Conundrum

There is a moment where you are sitting at a conference, perhaps during a keynote, waiting for some huge announcement that is destined to blow you away. This is the killer app… This is the app that will change your life… This is the platform that will redefine how you build… And then you leave the conference, head back to work and try to get it working and you can’t… It’s still in beta. It doesn’t work in your environment with your configuration. You need to deploy a slew of other servers to even start setting it up. The APIs have not
