Owning the Problem towards the Solution

A 5-minute owning up to the problem and what you should have done is much more productive than a 35-minute debate on what you did do in an attempt to prevent what went wrong. The former gets the ball rolling towards a solution, both parties focussed on moving forward, together. The latter stalls the solution process, strengthening walls, instead of breaking them down.

Where Are You Going?

Something to think about on this last blog of 2017. Where do you want to go next year? How will you get there? What goals do you hope to achieve? Who do you need to help you get there? When will you achieve these goals? Answer the questions, write them down, print them out, put them over your workstation, your reading room, your bed, your nightstand, your car, etc, etc. But make them happen and don’t forget when times get tough, where it is you want to go.
