Blue Screen of Recording

I can’t recall the last time I had a blue screen of death (BSD) come across my screen. Good to know they still exist, I was getting worried we had achieved perfection in the development of software and asychronous updating. That said, running a conference call that had completed the recording portion of the call only to have a BSD was a very unwelcome experience. As a result, the call recording was lost (I guess it resides in memory whilst recording). I’m going to have to try this cloud recording and pull the cable while doing a recording to see

Demos Gonna Break

I spent close to 2 hours recording demos this morning. I finished the first one (about 25 minutes in length), when my last failure case blew up. I could have sent it out as is, but it would have been a bit empty handed seeing as how we the first 23 minutes were a lead up to the last 2 minutes. I feel like this is a lot of 2020 right now. Finding the Time

Everyone is busy working on everything that they are doing. You’re busy trying to keep your head above water. That list of things you want to accomplish isn’t getting any shorter. So now, is the perfect time to prioritize what you need to do and get it done. When are you at your best to get things done? Great, schedule that work to happen there and no where else – that is when you are at your best. Does this mean you might sign on 15 – 30 minutes later for work? Possibly, but if that is all the time

The One Hit Wonder

That last release isn’t your last. Your next post will do just fine. That tweet that everyone loved, your next one might not do as well. That instagram post that had everyone chuckling, you’ve got a few more ideas inside of you. You’re only a One Hit Wonder if you compare yourself to the luck and timing you had the first time you did something. The algorithms aren’t perfect, people’s routines change daily, who knows… we could all be told to work remotely for 8 months? Whatever the reason, don’t base your status as a One Hit Wonder on a
