The Project Event

There is a moment in every project where an event occurs that stops the project in it’s tracks. It can be a good thing – “we don’t need to do this” or a bad thing – “someone is asking us to stop”. Whatever it is, it is a defining event in the delivery of the project and the team. I went onto reddit and found that new users received a significant discount and/or there were randomly modulated price changes (to reduce the price by 80%). It’s too bad that users of 3+ years who have a proven purchase history aren’t

You should be Angry for Your Team

It’s good to get mad for your team. To fight for them when they are being asked to work that third weekend of overtime to get the product out the door. To fight for them in their performance and salary reviews. To fight for them to get the training they need to keep being the great executing team they are. It’s good to get angry for your team and fight for them. Not every day, not every meeting. It’s good to do this because we get angry for the things we love when we sense an injustice is being committed
